When I started out in the beauty industry I had no idea that I would love it so much and develop such a passion for it! Because of my desire to share what I have learned with both colleagues and consumers, I have a unique position in this wonderful beauty industry. On the business end, I serve as a liaison between marketing and R&D to facilitate product launches or partner with R&D groups to handle creative “overload” (too many projects but not enough time or staff). For consumers, I offer insight on beauty products, answer questions about ingredients and debunk myths, new and old, that continually plague our industry.  I have a great relationship with beauty editors (some of my most favorite people) and look forward to helping them out with their stories!  I also write monthly columns for an industry publication, Cosmetics & Toiletries magazine, and Sister 2 Sister, a monthly entertainment magazine.

The goal of this blog is to serve as another way that I can help consumers (and fellow product junkies) keep up on the newest products being launched, understand what the ingredients are, and share my opinion on important issues regarding the beauty industry.  Basically, beauty reviews and news from a cosmetic chemist’s point of view!
