A Versatile Cleanser That’s Eco-Friendly

So on my quest for multitasking products to reduce the amount of clutter in my house and save a buck, I came across Enviro-One Multi-Use Green Cleaner. The first things that caught my eye were the captions under the pictures: Enviro-One All Purpose Green Cleaner, Enviro-One Pet Shampoo and Urine Remover, and Enviro-One Fruit & Vegetable Wash. OK, cool I said to myself! We bought our girls a dog for Christmas and he still has the occasional accident in the house so I could use it as a carpet cleaner and general cleaner. But that’s not all folks; apparently this cleaner has 247 uses in 6 different categories! There are 18 uses for you car, 182 different applications in your home/office, 7 uses for boats and other marine related projects, 12 uses for your pets, 11 uses for “other” and here is the one that completely turned me off- 17 uses for personal care!
So when I said that I was looking for a multitasking product, I have a mental block when a cleanser claims to be great for: showering, hair shampoo, face wash, brushing teeth, baby bath, baby wipe formula, sunburns, shaving and bug bites; as well as cleaning your bird cage and removing pet urine odors from the carpet. Yeah, I draw the line right there.
The ingredient label is extremely vague which is acceptable with household goods but doesn’t make the grade with personal care products. The Enviro-One Multi-Use Green Cleaner looks like this:
Purified water, fatty acids, organic alcohol (derived from sugarcane), folic acid, minerals and enzymes derived from edible and seed bearing plants.
This really doesn’t tell me much at all; so will I be using it on my face or in my mouth- definitely not! But I will try it and see how efficient it is with my household cleaning needs.
Until next post!
