Trilastin SR: The Answer to Stretch Mark Free Skin- Without Surgery
Now don’t go rolling your eyes or sucking your teeth! As a chemist, my skepticism alarm was blaring but when you examine the chemistry and rationale behind the ingredient choices, view the before and after pics and have a conversation with the owners of the company- you will probably be willing to give Trilastin SR a try- I know that I am!
First let’s look at what a stretch mark is- it’s a tear in the dermis (layer of skin between the epidermis or upper layer and the fatty layer). The elastin is stretched to it’s limit and collagen production is disrupted so the skin is thin, translucent and often discolored. So what has Trilastin done to have an affect on diminishing the appearance of stretch marks? They decided to treat the stretch mark from different angles as opposed to just stimulating collagen production (claim to fame of many stretch mark products on the market). Let’s go through the ingredient list and examine the technology used in Trilastin SR!
Science Behind It:
Zea Mays (Corn) Kernal Extract has data on stimulating the synthesis of fibronectin (proteins involved in tissue repair, cell migration and cell adhesion); since fibronectin has a role in tissue repair, it helps rebuild the dermis. Oh, I forgot to mention that you can find fibronectin in the dermis!
Chlorella Vulgaris Extract is a green microalgae with data showing that it’s use can stimulate the production of collagen.
Filling Spheres technology consists of dehydrated collagen that penetrate into the stratum corneum and swell as it traps the water from the skin trying to escape into the atmosphere. This swelling action pushes out the wrinkle (in this case the stretch mark) creating a smooth surface while keeping the water in your skin helping to improve moisturization.
Virtual Patch is a network of collagen that forms a microscopic patch. The bioactive ingredients are entrapped within the patch and slowly release the ingredients into the skin for optimum performance.
Licorice Root Extract, Uva Ursi Leaf Extract and Ascorbyl Palmitate work together to even out the skin tone around the stretch mark so the mark blends in with the rest of your skin.
There you have it- it really is a complete approach to treating all of the visible aspects of the stretch mark. Again, let me say this, not all product work the same on everyone but I have seen the before and after pics for this product (straight off of the camera- no time to photoshop) and the results are impressive. With faithful use this may be the product to help you with your stretch marks!

Hi Vanessa,
The pictures that I posted came from the study done by EC Research. I know these guys personally and they sent me the photos right after they were taken. There are a lot of companies using photos and data generated from everything but their own products. I’m not saying the Celtrixa Stretch Mark Cream does this, but I know for sure that EC Research runs a panel and takes the pics…
