The Quest for Perfect Breast
On February 5th, Allure Daily Beauty Reporter opened my eyes to what women will really go through to get perfect breast! I didn’t know that Triple-K size breasts existed and certainly wouldn’t expect anyone to go against medical opinion for the sake of having triple K’s! Trust me, i am not opposed to cosmetic surgery (I have a “work to be done” budget) and I don’t judge anyone who wishes to make “self improvements” but I do hope that all medical advice is taken into consideration before such decisions are made.
Being a Cosmetic Chemist, many different ingredients come my way making all kind of bust enhancing claims. Some have data to support them and others just have folklore with no testing to back them up. (I’m already a skeptic when it comes to certain products so to not have comprehensive data in this day and age is a bit ridiculous.) There was one particular ingredient presented to me that realigns fat to help build up volume for hands, cheeks, breasts and butts! I have to say that the data presented was impressive and they studies were done under proper conditions with controls. I would have like to have seen a larger panel but it did show that the average breast size of the thrity panelist increased by 38cc’s. No, it won’t take you from an A to KKK but it can give you a boost into the next size up. Then there are others that just tighten up the skin to make the breast appear firmer (instant gratification for that LBD- it’s not a permanent fix).

Clarins Bust Beauty Gel- This is a quick fix gel for that extra bust boost! As the water evaporates, there is a film left behind that tightens as it dries. This is definitely temporary so enjoy it while it lasts (FYI, it’s great for photo-ops when you want the girls to be noticed).
StrVectin Hydro-Thermal Bust Beautification Serum- the price is as long as the name! Coming in at a whopping $135, this serum uses the ingredient that I mentioned above. It helps align the fat cells within the fatty tissue and encourages the creation of new fat cells all while promoting storage of oils- the end result is increased volume where applied. BTW, the panel consisted of 30 women applying the gel on one breast for 56 days! This is not an overnight process and you need patience and discipline to see any effect at all!
Flirty Little Secret Firming Cream with Pheromones- This bust enhancer has a different mode of action than the one above.
