Apple of My Eye…Anti-Wrinkle with Apple Cells
Once upon a time, in a land far away from here (here being the US and far being Switzerland), there was an apple that outlasted any other with no preservation. “How odd and fascinating,” the people thought, “these apples don’t shrivel up when the others do…what can be happening!” Fast forward to the 21st century when scientists rediscovered and began to examine the mysteries of this now endangered apple (huh? How could it be endangered if it outlasts other apples? Well my friends it lasted longer but tasted much worse! Now back to my story…)
After dissecting and examining the apple, the scientist discovered that this particular apple contained a higher level of, dare I say, stem cells! These particular stem cells are responsible for regeneration, similar to a wound healing reaction. If the apples get cut on the surface then the cells will slowly divide to form a clear mass of cells over the “wound” (like a scab on a human cut), these cells have now regressed from a specialized form with a particular function- the skin of the apple- to a scabish mass of cells with no distinctive features of a “normal” plant cell (meaning now, it looks like a clear heap of junk). This clear heap of junk happens to be the stem cells that protect the apple and preserve it’s lifespan.
Ok, so what apple am I talking about? It’s a Swiss apple called Uttwiler Spatlauber and as I mentioned they are rare because apple cultivators like to grow apples that had a pleasing taste and Uttwiler just didn’t cut it! But now they are being cultivated and the longevity stem cells are being incorporated into skin care for their protective properties. FYI, you won’t find the name uttwiler spatlauber on any product label but you will see the INCI name: Malus Domestica Fruit Cell Culture, xanthan gum, lecithin, glycerin, water and phenoxyethanol. It’s in a specialized delivery system for maximum benefit.
What can apple stem cells do for your skin? Mibelle Biochemistry put their theories to the test and put the uttwiler spatlauber cultures in a formulation for 20 women ages 37-64 to evaluate. They applied the cream to their crows feet twice a day for 28 days; 100% of the volunteers perceived a decrease in their crows feet.

One client was even asked if she had surgery, and that was after only four sessions (she’s 58 years old). The results are amazing, the product feels and smells fantasic! One of the best things that happened to the indutry in a long time. Absolutely fabulous!
