Rainbath Deep Moisture Body Wash

Hey B. Spotters, have you ever tried a body wash that was supposed to be moisturizing and was disappointed to discover that the only thing that moisturizing about it was the water from the shower?  Well, Rainbath Deep Moisture Body Wash from Neutrogena actually delivered.  I have to admit, I was skeptical because most creamy body washes don’t foam up enough for me (I know, I know, just because it doesn’t lather doesn’t mean that it’s not getting you clean) but this body wash has a great lather, smells nice and was moisturizing.  Now don’t get me wrong, you still need to apply a cream or lotion to maintain that feeling but I was pleasantly surprised!

Science Behind It:

Rainbath contains cocoa butter, mango butter and shea butter as well as silicone and a cationic (positive charge- your skin has a negative charge so the conditioner is attracted to your skin helping it to remain during rinsing) conditioner to help keep your skin soft and silky.  The great foaming is achieved from the blend of two surfactants (cleansing agents) and a foam stabilizer: sodium trideceth sulfate (primary surfactant), sodium lauroamphoacetate (secondary surfactant) and cocamide MEA (foam stabilizer).
