Getting Your Hair Back in Shape after Holiday Trauma
Well the holidays are now over and no doubt some of us have put our glorious manes through unspeakable trauma in order to look our glamorous best for those holiday parties and get togethers. So I like to baby my locks for the remainder of the winter months and ’surprise’ myself in the spring with the progress I’ve made! How do I baby my hair? I PROTECT it too no end! My main focal points are keeping it moisturized, well conditioned, keeping the ends protected from the elements, and manipulating the strands as little as possible! I mean think about it, remember how nicely your hair used to grow when Mommy used to just wash, condition, and braid your hair every 2 weeks or so? Well it’s the same concept! The less manipulation, the better! Trim away those split ends, use less heat, tuck those ends away in protective styles like fashionable buns or braids for a couple of months and just watch how your hair will thank you with less breakage and damage! I’ll go into the regimen that has helped me more next time, but untill then, Hairs 2 You!

Hi Na’Kita/Na’Kisha
I always knew Mizani was a great product but I’ve only known the relaxer which I love and only use. I don’t like using any sort of oil in my hair but without it my hair becomes dry and very fragile. I started using Dr. Miracles temple and nape but that was far too heavy for me. Other than Mizani’s moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, I’ve started using Comfiderm scalp oil w/ jojoba seed, avocado oil and rosemary extract. I’ve only used it for 3 weeks and so far my hair feels softer and looks shinier. Can you please investigate whether this product is a good one.
