Before we get involved any deeper, let me tell you a little bit about myself.  Here it goes…right out of college I went into forensics and hated it almost immediately.  I am not squeamish or faint of heart so working with blood and guts really didn’t gross me out and my sixth sense for telling my sister really nasty stories right when she was midbite of something yummy was very amusing (please don’t judge me).  The job was extremely boring- all analytical- and it kind of sucked that I had to wait for people to…well you know, pass on to the other side…to have any work to do for the day (it’s not a good feeling to know that in order for me to stay busy a family was mourning because of their loss).  It didn’t take me long to want to change professions. 

I found a job in a little consulting company that developed custom personal care products for other companies (from start up to multibillion dollar corporations); eight years later I am still here and now co-owner.  I absolutely, positively, without a doubt love what I do!  Being a Cosmetic Chemist is so much fun and I get to meet so many wonderful people and create great products.  It is so fulfilling to see my “babies” in stores hearing people rave about them, and to find out that they are flying off of the shelves…sniff… it makes Mama proud!
